I swear that insanity runs deep in my family! I remember my mother doing some of the crazy things that I find myself doing, and I know that my mom has said that she remembers my grandmother doing some of the crazy things that she has ended up doing! And we all know where that got my grandma! Poor Daisy!

Anyway, for some reason I decided that I would be the room mother for both of the kids classrooms! That means, not only do I get to spend a lot of time in the classrooms, scheduling field trips, calling parents, and many other things that the teachers need help with, but I also get to plan parties! So apparently I wasn't thinking that the parties would be the same days let alone the same times! Dah!!! (obviously I have a lot to learn)
Well it was time to plan another party and after having party planning burnout I thought, "Hey I will make it easy, it's Spring, I will borrow a lamb from my friend Loris' parents, take it to school, show the kids, (both classes) have a cupcake, play a game, and done!"
Easy right? Wrong! Again DAH! What was I thinking? This cute little lamb was going to stand still, let me pick it up, and kidnap it from its mother? Again sounds easy right? Well let me tell you, that didn't happen!!!! Lambs, as cute as they are, those babies can run, and not even to mention jump!! Like as high as my head!!!
Luckily I had a bit of help!
And who would have guessed that Todd being the animal lover that he ISN'T, is in fact one heck of a sheep wrangler!!!
So at least when my kids get older and they say things like, "You never do anything for me!" because I know they will, I at least have the pictures to prove them wrong!
But I must say being the mother of two young children I find that the things that I do end up doing, as out there as they seem to be, I do it because I love them so very much!!! I wouldn't trade it for ANYTHING!
